# Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 29 April 2026

## 1. Parties
These terms apply between Hockett End of Tenancy Cleaning Bristol & Bath of 36 Playford Gardens, Bristol BS11 0EX ("we", "us") and the customer booking the service ("you"). Booking constitutes acceptance of these terms.

## 2. Quotations
Quotes are based on the information you provide (property size, condition, scope). Quotes are valid for 14 days. Material differences on arrival (e.g. heavily soiled property quoted as standard) may require a revised quote, which will be agreed in writing before work proceeds.

## 3. Bookings & access
You must provide safe, lawful access to the property at the agreed time. If we cannot access the property within 30 minutes of the agreed start time, a callout fee of £45 may apply.

## 4. Payment
Payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer, card and cash. Late invoices over 14 days may incur statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where applicable.

## 5. Re-clean guarantee
For end of tenancy cleans, we will return free of charge to re-clean any cleaning issue raised in writing by your landlord or letting agent within 72 hours of the original clean. The guarantee covers cleaning issues only and does not cover damage, repairs, missing items, or normal wear identified on inventory check-out reports unrelated to cleanliness.

## 6. Cancellations
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the booking are free of charge. Within 48 hours, a fee of 25% of the quoted total may apply. Within 24 hours or no-shows, 50% may apply, to cover crew time.

## 7. Liability
We hold £2 million public liability insurance. Any damage caused by our team during a clean must be reported in writing within 24 hours of completion to be considered for cover. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, items not declared as fragile, or for indirect or consequential losses.

## 8. Limitations
Some stains, mould, scale or damage may be permanent and not removable by cleaning. We will inform you on inspection and document any limitations before work begins.

## 9. Health & safety
For biohazard, hoarder, and squatter clearance work, additional safety protocols, PPE and waste handling fees apply and will be agreed in writing before work begins.

## 10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
